8540/8544 Mechanical/Chemical Cleaning Accessory

Electrode cleaning systems are available using a variety of methods according to the nature of the electrode and contaminant.
The Model 8540 mechanical cleaning system uses a ring-shaped small brush or silicone rubber membrane attached to an up and down moving shaft which is periodically activated by a programmable timer.
In the air or water cleaning system an IP65 electrovalve, which can be supplied with either air or water, is installed between the transmitter and the electrode or sensor.
For the chemical cleaning system, a twin-chamber hose pump delivers measured volumes of a cleaning fluid via a nozzle mounted immediately below the tip of the electrode or sensor.
